Particle and Wave based Manifesting

Energy expresses itself as either particle or wave, depending on the lens through which it is viewed. We could call energy in wave formation "resonance" and energy in particle formation "form."

All manifestation is the process of transmuting one energy into another. Depending on the nature of what we want to manifest it may serve us to begin with resonance or form.  Form based manifesting relies heavily on the masculine principle of focus.  By focusing on something very specific that we want we begin collapsing the waves of energy all around us into particles that look and function in the way we imagined. Visualization, goals, strategy and implementation are all examples of form based manifestation.

Wave based manifestation relies more on feminine energy and is equally powerful in different ways. Its focus is not on the form, but on the specific energy we want to fill our lives with. Spending time with another loved one using the wave based approach, it is not important whether we have sex, or if we do, whether we orgasm. What is important is staying totally present to the love, the spaciousness and the sense of respect we feel for ourselves, our bodies and our partner. We are happy when there is a peace, and a lightness in our heart, regardless of the future outcome.

Both particle and wave based manifesting have their weakness. In particle based manifesting we can become fixated on a specific image and invest more and more of our energy pursuing it, losing touch with our sense of balance. We can begin to use, rather than relate to our reality. Plants, loved ones and our own bodies  becomes nothing more than a vehicle we use to get what we want. We lose touch with the dance of creating together.

Wave based manifesting has its own weakness. Planning and commitments are virtually impossible in a space where one or both people are more committed to flowing with their grace in the moment. Is one likely to spontaneously and flowingly feel like paying the rent on time?

Understanding that wave based manifesting is most powerful at building and maintaining emotionally based relationships, while particle based manifesting is most powerful at achieving specific goals within a set time frame, we can use both of these tools in different areas of our lives. Knowing that most people are more competent with one and thus rely heavily on that approach to the detriment of their lives, we can consciously begin developing the area we are weakest.

Action: On a scale of one to ten, rate your competency as a wave based manifestor and as as fixed point manifestor. Now use your fixed point manifesting skill to create a conscious strategy for balancing and enhancing both of these skills as appropriate in your life.
