Expand Your Vision

When we expand our sense of what is possible, we increase our vision. However, vision is not something we can expand in only direction. When we open our eyes truly to what is possible see both both creative and destructive potential, for both are equally present.

Often we shrink from our vision for fear of seeing negative possibilities we are afraid of. In doing so we we also lose sight of magnificent possibilities. When we shrink our vision we are more likely to be caught off guard by an unforeseen obstacle in our path. With vision comes the power to choose to move closer to or further away from what we see.

Honesty is akin to the willingness to see what is, and is a form of vision. That sight gives us the possibility of creating a conscious relationship with what is. All power stems from the capacity to consciously relate with what is in such a way that our world moves closer to the form we desire.

Action: Pick an area of your life you want to expand your power. Write down ten negative possibilities and ten positive possibilities you had not previously considered. Make a specific choice that moves you closer to a positive possibility and further from a negative.
