A Right to be Where We Are

Our personalities have reactions to the other personalities in our lives. Regardless of the truths we know about all being one, our feelings and thoughts need to be honored as they come up for us. Some people will bring up disgust, judgment, fear, anger and hate. We could spend vast amounts of energy locked up in relating to someone in ways that go nowhere.

Higher truths do not deny our freedom to live our life, to honor our self and our preferences. Tell yourself the truth. There are many people that you may not be able to embrace as part of your life right now.  Respect yourself and them by owning this fact.

Action: Notice how you feel around people in your spontaneous reactions. Let that be OK and communicate cleanly about your needs and boundaries. Own your right to disengage with others, knowing that your reactions are all about you.
